Our new beginnings
This photo is from our Little Rock program, they travelled to Nackawic for a Jamboree, way to go team, we're proud of you. This program is successful due to the efforts of Volunteer Peter Assaff.

Ménard a volé un point au 1er bout et puis trois autres au 2e pour prendre une avance de 4-0 en route vers une victoire de 8-7 aux dépens de Glenn Howard de l'Ontario lors de la finale du Brier, dimanche soir.
La formation de Ménard est complétée par François Roberge (3e), Eric Sylvain (2e)Maxime Elmaleh (lead). Ils représenteront le
"Depuis que j'ai commencé à jouer au curling, j'avais un rêve et je le vis maintenant", a déclaré Ménard.
L'Ontario a orchestré un bon retour après un mauvais départ et Ménard a dû effectuer une double sortie avec sa dernière
Le Québécois Ménard a mentionné qu'il a gardé son sang froid avant de lancer sa dernière
"J'ai senti de la nervosité durant tout le match mais pas plus que lors des autres lancers", a-t-il ajouté. "Il était seulement question de me rendre au bloc de départ, d'effectuer mon tir et de viser le balai."
La défaite a été dure à avaler pour Howard qui avait une fiche de 11-1 avant le match et avait battu le Québec à deux reprises plus tôt dans la semaine, une fois dans les rondes préliminaires et également dans le match éliminatoire Page 1 vs 2.
"C'est décevant. Nous avions si bien joué tout au cours de la semaine", a déclaré Howard. Nous n'étions pas à la hauteur, aujourd'hui."
Howard a ajouté qu'il avait été pris par surprise par une glace qui courbait moins que d'habitude, dimanche soir. Il a mentionné que ses deux
"J'étais déçu qu'elles ne courbaient pas", a-t-il dit. La formation de Howard était complétée par Richard Hart (3e), Brent Laing (2e) et Craig Savill (lead).
La victoire de dimanche était seulement la deuxième pour le Québec depuis le gain de Jim Ursel en 1977.
Grâce à cette victoire, la formation de Ménard se mérite un laissez-passer pour la Coupe Canada Strauss 2007 du 13 au 18 mars à Kamloops et un autre (temporaire) pour la Coupe Continental 2007 à Chilliwack du 23 au 26 novembre à condition qu'il ne termine pas plus bas que 3e au Championnat du monde.
À titre de finalistes, Ménard et Howard recevront un montant de 40 000$.
Ménard a été élu le Gervais MVP (joueur le plus utile) de la finale.
