October 26 and ice is being created

Hello Pilgrims,
As you can see by the photos, first ice has been created at the club by Alvin our religiously devoted ice man. If you care to see the operation every day this week from 9am to noon and on Satruday the big job of making the lines begins, this is an operation not to be missed by many of the devoted Curlers. Read the following post more on starting dates.
Please note: by clicking on the photo you will see a larger image. You will see the first ice as made by our Ice man, and of course one of our Ice man himself. We thank Alvin as well as our other volunteers Ken and Claude being cheered by Bud down with the flu, good recovery to you Bud.
Have a good week.

CURLING

Hello to everybody and we know summer is over when the word "curling" is the subject.
I just got a call from Glen Carroll -- Miramichi Curling. He called to remind me of the Funspiel happening on: Wednesday, October 29th
3 -- four end games
$10 / person
9:00 -- approx. 4:30
Please pass on this information to any other members you might meet.
When you decide yes or no, please let me know as early as possible as Glen needs the information to decide if it's a go or not.
Thanks
