A message from your President

DEAR CURLERS AND NEW MEMBER PROSPECTS,

ANOTHER CURLING SEASON IS UPON US,

This year’s season will begin on Nov. 9th, 2009, starting off with wobble days, offering a chance for everyone to
give the sport a try at no charge on Nov. 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th.

Regular league curling begins the following week, Nov. 16th, 2009.

In addition to our regular curling activities, the membership hopes to bring forth new and old ideas to help restore the club to its heydays. Our first event will take place on Wednesday Nov. 25th at 7 PM with a four end Funspiel, a desert bar followed by a general information meeting. All members are welcomed. A new fundraising campaign, suppers planned by the senior’s group and the Little Rock’s along with increased activity during the weekends will be the catalyst to a great year for the club. Our first major event will be the North East Junior’s Preliminaries on Nov. 27th to 29th.

For more information on becoming a member of the Bathurst Curling Club call the club at 546-5665, and leave a message, SOMEONE WILL RETURN YOUR CALL.

A complete application form for the 2009-2010 season is on the flip side of this letter. Please take the time to complete it and mail it to the address below, or drop it off at the curling club during wobble days. You will notice changes to the membership structure including an increase in dues. Please be assured that this increase is in the best interest of our clubs future.
